Luis Hilti

Studied architecture at ETH Zurich from 2005 to 2012. Subsequently, he worked at Ateliermob in Lisbon, followed by positions at Alberto Kalach in Mexico City and HelsinkiZurich in Zurich. He also worked as a freelance urbanist and curator before founding Atelier Gapont in 2019. Additionally, he co-founded Verein ELF in 2018, the Institute for Linear Research in 2019, and Netzwerk Biodiversität in 2021. Luis served on the board of the Liechtenstein Artist Association from 2016 to 2022. He has led various design studios and research projects at the University of Liechtenstein and has lectured and conducted workshops internationally. Luis obtained his PhD on democratisation of spatial development, which was awarded the Austrian Science Prize in Architecture 2025.

Nevena Velikova

Holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the University of Liechtenstein and a Bachelor of Architecture from UACEG, Sofia, Bulgaria. Gained professional experience in architectural offices in Bulgaria (2021–2022) and Switzerland (2023). Participated in the Summer Schools of Architecture in Bulgaria (2021) and Serbia (2022), and is an active member of EASA (European Architecture Students’ Assembly). Joined Atelier Gapont in August 2024 and currently works as an Architect.

Nevena Velikova

Holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the University of Liechtenstein and a Bachelor of Architecture from UACEG, Sofia, Bulgaria. Gained professional experience in architectural offices in Bulgaria (2021–2022) and Switzerland (2023). Participated in the Summer Schools of Architecture in Bulgaria (2021) and Serbia (2022), and is an active member of EASA (European Architecture Students’ Assembly). Joined Atelier Gapont in August 2024 and currently works as an Architect.

M.Arch and BAS from the McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada. From 2022-2025 worked as an architect at Dietrich Untertrifaller Architekten in Bregenz, Austria. Prior to that she gained professional experience at Woodford Architecture in Canada and Lundhagem in Norway. With a primary focus on wood construction, Sarah has been working as an architect and project leader at Atelier Gapont since December 2025.

Eva Candela

MArch, from University of Alicante, with complementary education at TU Delft and London Southbank University. She has taught architecture as Honorary Professor in University of Alicante. Her interest lie at the intersection of architectural narrative and aesthetic, intervention in the built environment, exploring how spaces can convey identity, memory and experience.

She holds a Master of Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego and studied architecture at the European University of Madrid. She has taught architecture at the Visual College of Art and Design (VCAD) in Canada and at IED Barcelona, and has worked as a design consultant with Debicki Speta Design in Calgary. Julia is engaged in research at the intersection of architecture and neuroscience and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Universitat Politècnica de València. She has been working as an architect at Atelier Gapont since 2023.
