This study explores the potential of accommodating two or even three households on a plot currently occupied by a single-family house.
The proposed extension spirals upward, creating varied room heights within a generous, open living space.
On the upper floor, the rooms are staggered in steps, allowing for maximum daylight and a clear, simple spatial organisation.
A timber load-bearing structure wrapped around a concrete core defines the spatial layout and follows a consistent structural logic from the basement to the roof.
